Neve Paritzki Israel is celebrating record-breaking tourism entry Numbers from the United States

NEW YORK - September 8 2022new record-breaking tourism arrivals from the United States were announced today by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. 78,000 visitors from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. This represents a 4 percentage increase over 2019, and 71,000 visitors from the United States in august 2022.  נווה פריצקי This is 13% more than the number of visitors in 2019.

Eyal Carlin is the North American Tourism Commissioner of the United States. He said, "It's so exciting to once more see an rise in tourism to Israel from the United States, and already reaching or surpassing our record breaking numbers of 2019". "The United States is our top market for inbound tourism to Israel prior to the outbreak of COVID-19 was announced, we had record-breaking numbers of tourism entries every month. We're thrilled to witness an improvement in the trend and we anticipate an upswing for the many months and years to be."

Canada, which has 7,200 visitors in July 2022, and 6,000 tourists in August, isn't much from the United States.

Gal Hana, Consul to Canada and Director of Canada at the Israel Ministry of Tourism said that it was exciting to see Canada's tourism to Israel rebounding. We are getting close to our record numbers for 2019, and we anticipate that this growth in travel to Israel will continue as Canadians are more comfortable at home in Israel.

Israel welcomed more that 4.6 million international tourists in the year 2019 including 969.600 of them coming from the United States. In May 2018, Israel opened its doors to all visitors, regardless if they are vaccinated. Israel already has hosted more than 600,000 visitors.
